Although nearly half of your last month was spent in the car, vacation did provide an excellent opportunity for photos to chronicle some of your achievements.
You haven't lost interest in the 4 wheeler yet, and have learned to push the buttons yourself to make all the sounds, which makes you very happy ... and gives mommy and daddy a headache. The reaction here is due to mommy dangling the pacifier near the camera. Your paci is never out of your sight.
You are forward facing in both vehicles and love the view ...
But you see no reason why we don't let you drive.
You are a good eater for the most part, you will try just about any food we put in front of you. On occasion you have been known to fall asleep in your high chair.
On vacation you got to experience your first (and second, and third, and fourth ...) tastes of McDonald's. If you follow in your mommy's footsteps, you will celebrate your 30th birthday with a party here as well.
You love being outside more than anything. You will throw an all out, arch your back-kick and scream-throw your arms in the air-fit if we don't take you outside every night after dinner. This is especially pleasant now that the temperature is 110 degrees and the grass is completely dead.

You like to dig through the bathroom drawers in the morning when mommy is getting ready, and the one you can reach has hair care products in it. This particular morning you came out with the sculpting clay. Mommy thought you looked good with a Mohawk ... daddy didn't agree.
You think you are such big stuff when you sit on a chair or on the couch. You haven't quite mastered the art of getting off, and usually go head first onto the ground.
You are fascinated with rocks. Anytime you see a rock, you insist on stopping to pick it up to examine it. Most of the time it finds its way to your mouth.
You took your first swim this month. You seems to like it just as well as a bath. Gramma Jill's measuring cups helped.
You love cows and get very excited when you see them. Despite daddy's best efforts to convince you otherwise, you are determined that they say "Booo".
This is the classic Ryder face from the past month. Everything seems so exciting to you, and that is so fun for mommy and daddy. Seeing the world through your eyes is pure joy.
You are growing up so fast, and everyday you can do so much more than the day before. You never crawl anymore, and only occasionally fall down when walking. You call everything either a dog, a ball, or a mama even though you can say more words when you want to. Occasionally you have a good temper and a stubborn streak, but since you come by those honestly mama doesn't hold either against you. You are a happy boy most of the time, and pretty laid back given some of the circumstances we put you in this month. You are my sunshine.
I love you to the moon and back!
Mama
